Bates Therapy

The Bates Therapy Technique involves the realignment of Muscles, Tendons and Ligaments. Misalignments can create restrictions to the nerves and blood vessels throughout the body, which can cause pain, stiffness and numbness, reduce a range of movement and decrease energy levels.

The Bates Technique is a completely Natural Therapy able to relieve acute and chronic Migraines, R.S.I, Carpel Tunnel, Frozen shoulder, Sciatica, Scoliosis, Lumbar problems, Knee pain, Ankle sprains and Sports injuries.

Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Chronic Fatigue and Pregnant patients can also benefit.

Bates Therapy (not to be confused with Bowen work) can be used in conjunction with other massage modalities, or can be performed on a fully clothed person, for example at a sports event.

Orthotic Therapy

Feet have a direct impact on the balance and posture of your body. Even the smallest imbalance in a persons feet can cause pain. Feet have a complex system of 52 bones, 66 joints, 214 ligaments and 38 tendons and muscles.

Beverley is also a qualified Orthotic Therapist, fitting ‘Cyber-Orthotic’ shoe insoles which are custom-made to an individuals foot. Orthotics can also be the ‘key’ to reducing stress and strain on your body, by bringing your feet back into proper alignment.
